Collaborating on the Web During the last decade, the building blocks of our economy have not just grown. They have dispersed. Facility AuditMate includes 56 basic reports, each one of which can be extensively customized. Newcomers to Facility AuditMate are often drawn to the 10-year report. With just a few clicks of the mouse, they can produce a document which otherwise can take weeks to develop. Our 10-year report compiles data for all the buildings and components in your system and provides year-by-year estimates of your facility reinvestment needs. It's the perfect document to provide your board of directors or trustees to support your spending proposals. What's more, you can easily create 10-year reports for individual facilities, systems, or components. And you can just as easily repeat the same process for one- and five-year increments. In fact, it's the ease in which Facility AuditMate creates detailed, accurate reports that makes the program so valuable. Creating a Reliable Look-up Library At the heart of Facility AuditMate is our look-up library of unit cost and life span figures, which the program uses to compile the deferred costs and replacement costs of your building components. Diversified Intelligence has derived these figures from several sources. Members of the Diversified Intelligence staff begin with commercially available cost data and use these figures as a baseline. We then adjust these numbers to reflect the additional costs associated with replacement and refine them further using information gathered from manufacturers, architectural, and engineering professionals, project managers, contractors, and distributors. Finally, we test our figures in the field to ensure their full reliability. The result: unit cost and life span figures that are usable in all parts of the country. But no matter how carefully we fine-tune our data, our figures may not match your circumstances exactly. Numbers differ depending on geographic location, the availability of non-union labor, and a host of other factors.
